Lars Rask (retired), the founder of the company, worked as a technician and engineer in the signaling industry from 1958 to 2010. He had employment im Swededn, USA and Liberia before founding Railroad Systems in 1994 together with his son Thomas Rask. Rask Senior performed engineering work on signal systems in over 20 countries.
